National Tap Dance Day Celebration

FreeNational tap dance day was founded in 1989 to celebrate the art of tap dance. The date was chosen in honor of one of the most famous tap dancers and Richmond native, Bill “Bojangles” Robinson. Enjoy the first annual celebration in RVA held in collaboration with 804 Dance Place. There will be free tap classes for adults and youth, activities for children under age 5 to explore sound, live performances by local artists and students, and more. You’re welcome to come participate, watch, or just join to enjoy others company.
