Saturday at the Museum – Meadow Farm
All ages. Henrico Recreation and Parks owns, preserves, and interprets historic properties across the county. See and hear the stories of the people, places, and events that have shaped our county. The Meadow Farm house, built in phases from 1820 to 1858, is now interpreted as the Sheppard home during the 1860s. After the tour, you can view the exhibits at the Parsons Center, which explores the history of Native Americans from the area, the enslaved that worked the farm and the Sheppard family.
