Spring Break Activities at the Virginia Museum of History & Culture

Join VMHC Education for offerings celebrating the newest exhibition “Julia Child: A Recipe for Life.” All offerings are walk-up and included with admission, unless specified otherwise on the linked event listings.

Daily Schedule:
• Monday, April 1st
o All Day: Food Themed Crafts in Bluford Classroom (elementary age)
o 1:30-2:00 Highlight Tour of Julia Child exhibition (upper elementary & above)

• Tuesday, April 2nd
o 10:30-11:15 Stories at the Museum (elementary age)
 Read: Born Hungry: Julia Child Becomes “the French Chef”
 Make: Chef’s Hat
o 1:30-2:00 Highlight Tour of Julia Child exhibition (upper elementary & above)
o 7:00-8:00 Movie Mythbusting: Julie & Julia (virtual)

• Wednesday, April 3rd

o 9:00-11:00 FREE Sensory Friendly Morning (all ages)
o 1:30-2:00 Highlight Tour of Julia Child exhibition (upper elementary & above)
