Spring into Birding
May 10 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
FreeThe trees haven’t yet grown their new set of leaves, making the birds more visible when perching on branches. Some winter migrants may still be visiting from far up north, while others are year-round residents. Perhaps we’ll even see some colorful new arrivals from Central or South America. Take a guided walk with a ranger alongside meadow and forest to find out who is out and about. Bring binoculars if you have them. Check website for a bird checklist to print at home. The walk will be up to one mile depending on the abilities of the group.
