The Latin Ballet of Virginia Presents Marcel Marceau: A Silent Hero

May 2 @ 7:00 pm 9:00 pm

Marcel Marceau was a French actor who was known internationally for his emotional and elegant performance as a mime. In France during WWII, Marceau used his art of mime to save Jewish children during the Holocaust. Under the creative direction of Ana Anais King, the Latin Ballet of Virginia will bring the Marcel Marceau story, A Silent Hero, to life through ballet. The result is a moving tribute to the legendary mime artist who harnessed the power of his art to save lives during one of humanity’s darkest chapters. This performance will serve as a powerful reminder of the indomitable spirit of the human soul. Performance sponsored by Allianz Partners; final reception sponsored by MCV Foundation.
