We the Kids: Think Big! 250 Years of Bright Ideas… and Counting! Think big and bring your ideas to life on We the Kids Day at Montpelier! Learn about James Madison’s ideas and how they shaped America—and think about how your own ideas, big or small, make a difference. The day will be packed with fun for the whole family: hands-on Idea Stations, colonial games, up-close encounters with animal ambassadors, food, and more! Visit the mansion, sign a kid-friendly Constitution, and pick up some cool swag along the way. Community partners and friends from nearby historic sites will be onsite with activities and stories about early American history. James Madison himself will be on hand to share some of his brightest ideas. Think big, shine bright, and let your ideas light the way for America’s next 250 years!
