Absentee in-person voting for the 2024 general election, including contests for president, the U.S. House of Representatives, and the U.S. Senate, will get underway Friday, Sept. 20, at Henrico’s Voter Registration and Elections offices.
County voters can cast their early ballots at the offices’ Henrico Government Center and Eastern Government Center locations from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays Sept. 20 to Nov. 1.
The offices will open for in-person voting on the two Saturdays prior to Election Day, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 26 and Nov. 2. An additional early-voting location will open at Varina Area Library from Oct. 21 to Nov. 2.
Voters also can return completed absentee ballots to drop boxes — installed at the two Voter Registration and Elections offices, Varina and Tuckahoe Area libraries and Deep Run Recreation Center — beginning Sept. 20.
Polling sites will open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5. To participate in the election, voters must register or update an existing registration by Tuesday, Oct. 15.
