This spring, Richmond’s streets, neighborhoods and hidden corners come alive once again as the Valentine launches its 2026 Richmond History Tours season beginning April 9. With more than 100 opportunities to explore the city alongside expert guides, this year’s lineup invites residents and visitors alike to discover the people, places and stories that shape Richmond’s past and present.
Running every Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, the Valentine’s tours offer an engaging mix of walking, biking and bus experiences designed to meet participants wherever their curiosity leads. From iconic landmarks to overlooked narratives, each tour reveals a different layer of the city’s evolving story.
“We’re always thinking about how to keep these experiences fresh, even for people who have taken our tours before,” said Sophia McCrimmon, Adult Programs and Tours Manager. “From the return of our cycling tours to new opportunities like a behind-the-scenes look at CarMax Park on our baseball history bus tour, this season is all about offering something unexpected.”
