Richmonder John Bryan is highly involved in the autism community. He conducted the 2021 National Autism Grandparents Survey, authored the national book Angelina’s Shake-a-Stick! (angelinasshakeastick.com), and is a member of the Autism Society of Central Virginia and the recipient of their annual Changemaker Award. Free copies of his book are available throughout April at the Children’s Museum of Richmond, the Richmond Public Library’s main branch, and Crossroads Art Center. John is married to artist JC Gilmore-Bryan who, like John, has loving involvement with Angelina and the autism community.
