WRIC and 8NEWS welcome Constance Jones to Richmond. She will co-anchor with Juan Conde and Chief Meteorologist, John Bernier weeknights at 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m..
Constance brings more than fifteen years of experience in journalism, reporting, and anchoring from major markets including Miami, New York City, Oklahoma City, and Atlanta. She has been honored by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Texas Associated Press, and the National Association of Black Journalists for Excellence in News Reporting. She was also featured in Miami’s Top 40 Leaders under 40 in Legacy Magazine.
Constance was born in Stuttgart, Germany, and spent most of her childhood overseas. She and her husband are excited to now call Richmond home. She is a proud member of the National Association of Black Journalists and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
