pre_canoeingRegistration is open for summer camp sessions at Camp Easter Seals UCP, a recreational and therapeutic camp for children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. Nestled in the mountains of New Castle, VA, themed camp sessions begin June 8th with six and 12 day sessions for ages 7 and up. Space is limited and scholarship applications are available.

For 55 years, Camp Easter Seals UCP has offered children and adults with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy fun and challenging indoor and outdoor camp activities in a supportive and cooperative atmosphere. From campfire sing-a-longs and talent shows to canoeing, nature walks, swimming, zip-lining, rock climbing and arts and crafts, the Easter Seals UCP camping program provides the excitement and activity of a traditional summer camp program in a beautiful, accessible setting.

Camp Easter Seals UCP is accredited by the American Camp Association and more than 400 individuals and families enjoy Camp Easter Seals UCP each year. With the belief that all children and adults with disabilities should have the opportunity to participate in traditional camp activities, the accessible camp facility can accommodate campers with a wide range of special needs.

For more information on various camp sessions, visit www.CampEasterSealsUCP.com; e-mail camp@eastersealsucp.com; or call (800) 365-1656.
