Centura College’s Richmond campus is hosting a career fair on Thursday, October 10th from 10am to 2pm at the Sheraton Park South Hotel at 9901 Midlothian Turnpike.
The career fair welcomes local companies to come in and share with the school’s active students, graduates and public what they are expecting in an employee. Many people will get a chance to interview with the companies.
The career fair lends guidance about employment expectations and examples of different opportunities that they may have upon graduation. The list of employers attending is growing but currently scheduled is Ashley Furniture, Care Advantage, Chesterfield County Police Department, FedEx, Home Depot, Kelly Temporary Services, VCU-MCV Health Systems, Virginia State Police and Westminster Canterbury.
Attendees are expected to attend the career fair dressed for success, with copies of their resumes and prepared to network. Resume assistance will also be available.
