Imagine a week of adventure and art, new friends and fun for your child or teen. Days filled with swimming in the pool and paddling in the lake. Cooking dinner over a campfire, followed by s’mores! All this can be found just outside Richmond at Camp Hanover.
Since 1957, Camp Hanover has been a leader in Christian summer camps for boys and girls, offering a perfect blend of activities in a safe and welcoming environment. See your child grow in confidence after a week of new adventures, building lifelong friendships, and learning valuable skills.
Something for Everyone at Camp Hanover

Thrill-seeking campers will enjoy defying gravity on the climbing wall and high ropes course. At the lake, campers can fish or splash around in corcls, a round plastic boat paddled like a kayak. Artsy-types can’t get enough visits to the craft pavilion where they create candles, tie-dye t-shirts, and make fairy houses.
What Makes Camp Hanover Different

A few things set Camp Hanover apart from other camps:
- A farm area with goats, chickens, and tortoises – animal lovers flock to it.
- Family-style meals with favorites including homemade pizza and cinnamon rolls. Camp Hanover also accommodates many food allergies and preferences.
- Small groups of 10 to 12 campers who plan, play, laugh, and grow together.
- Weekly sessions that run Sunday to Saturday. In addition to more fun experiences for campers, no Friday pickup means no time off work for parents.

Camp Hanover offers a variety of sessions for elementary, middle, and high school youth, with both day camp and overnight options. Find a session for your camper at CampHanover.org.
