Dave & Buster’s in Short Pump at West Broad Village is hosting a sensory-friendly event Sunday, February 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
This event is for families with children who have sensory issues and special needs that could make a regular visit to Dave & Buster’s overwhelming. During this event, the game volumes will be turned down, and the TVs and music will be turned off.
“We really want to make Dave & Buster’s a place everyone can enjoy,” says Rebecca Phillips, marketing director at Dave & Buster’s. “Seeing how much the families enjoyed the last sensory Sunday event we held, we knew we had to make it part of our regular programming.”
The event has a breakfast buffet option that also includes unlimited video game play and a $10 power card for $15.99 per person, as well as a breakfast buffet only option for $9.99 per person. A breakfast buffet purchase is not required to come in and play.
Tickets can be purchased here.
