First Tee Holds Father-Child Golf Tournament

Over Father’s Day Weekend, The First Tee of Richmond & Chesterfield in partnership with First Things First of Greater Richmond will hold a Father-Child Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 15 at 2:00 pm.

FirstTee_GolfDads with children ages six and under will play in a 6-hole par-3 loop division and dads with kids ages 7-12 and 13-17 will play in the 9-hole division. Following play, prizes will be awarded for first and second place in each age division. Every father-child team will receive their photograph following the event, a memento from the day!The tournament will be held at The First Tee of Chesterfield, located at 6736 Hunting Creek Drive, Richmond, VA 23237. For details and registration, visit www.thefirstteerc.org or call 804-378-2188.

The mission of The First Tee of Richmond & Chesterfield is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

First Things First of Greater Richmond is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening families through education, collaboration and mobilization. Our three primary focuses are: encouraging healthy marriages; connecting dads with their kids; and teaching youth relationship skills.
