Go Ape Treetop Adventure, an outdoor adventure course at Freedom Park in Williamsburg announces a food drive to support the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank.
The donation drive runs November through December, with items collected at the Go Ape cabin. Virginia Peninsula Foodbank is in need of canned vegetables, fruits and meats, and hearty meaty soups. Monetary donations are much needed, as they can convert $1 to 4 meals. One in seven Americans struggle with hunger, 1 in 4 being a child. The food drive will help fight this hunger in our local community. Additional information can be found at www.hrfoodbank.org.
A donation will provide guests a 10% discount to Go Ape Treetop Adventure or Treetop Junior! Booking ahead is recommended, and the discount will be applied upon arrival to Go Ape.

ABOUT GO APE USA (www.goape.com)
Go Ape is a highly interactive treetop adventure where participants are equipped with harnesses, pulleys and carabineers and receive a 30-minute training session before they are turned loose into the forest canopy. The courses feature a series of zip lines, Tarzan swings, rope ladders, bridges, swings, and trapezes. Catering to all skill levels, participants are encouraged to live life adventurously, push themselves, and turn “I can’t” into “I can.” To join the tribe, follow @GoApeUSA or visit the YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/goapeusa.
