On December 8th, time travel through three centuries of Christmas traditions at Richmond’s Agecroft Hall and Gardens!
From 12pm to 5pm on Sunday, December 8th at Agecroft Hall and Gardens, be transported back to 17th century England, 19th century London, and 20th century Richmond, Virginia as you enjoy holiday crafts, simmering cider, music, and a variety of lively entertainment – including a visit from Father Christmas himself!
As you wander the gardens and courtyards, you’ll meet reenactors representing the Tudor-era residents of Agecroft Hall from the 1600s, “A Christmas Carol” author Charles Dickens and his cast of characters, soldiers training for World War II, musicians, and more!
Be sure to warm up with a self-guided tour through the museum and enjoy all the decorations from the 1600s to the 1940s. Treat yourself to a quick stroll through the Agecroft Sweets Shop and Gift Shop – the perfect chance to enjoy locally-crafted baked goods as you tackle your gift list!
Located just minutes from Carytown, Yuletides at Agecroft Christmas Open House is both family-friendly and free! Gates open at 12pm with activities from 12:15pm to 5pm. Registration is welcomed but not required.
