More than 1,110 students, faculty and staff at St. Catherine’s School joined together on campus this morning in celebration of the International Day of the Girl to form the traditional female gender symbol. Everyone wore light blue to symbolize that the sky is the limit for girls education. St. Catherine’s is an all-girls school for students in junior kindergarten through grade 12. This is the culmination of 10 days of curriculum, speakers, movies and books focused on the importance of educating girls.
