Through Autastic Avenues, Robin McCallister and Tracy Scott are providing services for any child of any age who struggles with skills in social situations. With their direct classroom experiences, Tracy and Robin have a clear picture of the social problems children face at school and in the community. Children perceive social pressures from parents, teachers, and peers. Autastic Avenues understands that children who have difficulty functioning appropriately in a social environment often have misperceptions of social pressures. By explicitly teaching social thinking strategies to the children, new social opportunities open. When children are encouraged to practice social thinking strategies in a safe environment, they are given the confidence to use their new skills in all environments. Autastic Avenues also offers tutoring, speech therapy, executive function coaching, and consultation. For more information about any services go to autasticavenues.com or email autasticavenues@gmail.com.
