In partnership with Minor League Baseball, the Richmond Flying Squirrels are hosting a free screening of the critically acclaimed Negro League documentary, The Other Boys of Summer, Monday, August 28, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia.
The event will include a post-screening discussion between Marc Cheatham, host of the Black Baseball Mixtape podcast, and Lauren Meyer, producer and director of the film. Learn about the the Flying Squirrels’ Richmond 34 Legacy Campaign and Virginia State University Executive Trainee Program.
