Middle school students at Millwood School in Midlothian took teamwork, courage, and self-confidence to great heights this fall when they participated in Challenge Discovery’s Odyssey Course, located on the intramural fields at the University of Richmond. The Challenge Discovery experience is an annual tradition at Millwood School.
Along with Millwood School faculty members, the students tested their endurance, balance, and strength. The students tackled the daunting Alpine Traverse which requires much concentration. As students progress across the tight-wire, they depend on their partners to encourage them and physically help them advance through increasingly difficult obstacles.
