Carrabba’s brought one hundred lunches to the healthcare teams at St. Mary’s Hospital as part of a community-building effort by the tenants of West Broad Village.

Local shopping center, West Broad Village, raised money to donate to the FeedMore Central Virginia food bank in Richmond. Through their CoreGiving Foundation (part of the ShopCore network), FeedMore received $10,000. That’s 40,000 meals for those in need.

Additionally, West Broad Village purchased surprise lunches for local healthcare professionals and police to thank them for their selflessness throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

The property partnered with its tenants, Carrabba’s Italian Grill and Chuy’s Tex-Mex, and purchased a total of 160 meals from the restaurants. Both restaurants prepared and delivered a combined 160 individually boxed meals. Carrabba’s brought one hundred lunches to the healthcare teams at St. Mary’s Hospital, while Chuy’s delivered sixty meals to officers at the Henrico County Police Department.
