Alpha Theatre and Arts Company’s summer play Fiddler on the Roof

We are a company of Christians, involved in theatre. We host a summer camp producing a Broadway musical, and this summer we are proud to present, “Fiddler on the Roof.” We enjoy theatre – and the creative process – and create an outlet for those already familiar with theatre production, as well as offering an opportunity for others to experience the process of production. We are primarily interested in building relationships, encouraging the expression of gifts, and aspire to conduct the entire production process in a way that will glorify God. We are unique in that we offer a part for everyone who signs up to be in a production; we do not use auditions to determine who will be in a show, but how those signed up will be placed in the show. In this way, we offer theatre opportunities for everyone interested. We operate on a shoestring. We pinch every penny, sweat every creative drop we can, and work really, really hard. We greatly value our volunteers, student parents, and alumni who give of their talent, time and resources to help make our productions happen. We are grateful for every ad placed in our programs and every donation and sponsorship offered to us. We labor to find non-profit-friendly venues and partners. This year, Atlee Church in Mechanicsille will be our venue. We hope you will come out and enjoy our show this July!
