The Laurel School Information Session

We’re hosting our first Information Session for Richmond families. Come learn about The Laurel School – a new K–5 independent school built on child-centered education. The Laurel School is a small co-ed, intentional school where every child is known by name, taught with purpose, and given the time to grow into exactly who they are. We believe children learn best when they feel known, safe, and genuinely engaged. The Laurel School was built around that belief: a school where relationships come first, curiosity is nurtured, and every child has the space to grow at their own pace. The Laurel School is led by educators with more than 40 years of combined experience in school leadership, curriculum development, and family engagement, people who understand how children develop and what it takes to build a school that truly serves them. We believe childhood is not a waiting room. It is the most important time to develop strong habits of mind, a love of learning, and a sense of self. Everything we do at The Laurel School is designed with that in mind. The Laurel School is enrolling for 2026–2027. We welcome families who value intentional, joyful, rigorous education.
