Charterhouse School

UMFS’ Charterhouse School offers year-round comprehensive educational services to students in grades 1-12 with specialized education needs like autism, intellectual and learning disabilities and emotional challenges. As unwavering champions for children and families, Charterhouse School’s teachers and staff build strong relationships with students and parents. Charterhouse School is licensed by the Virginia Department of Education and curriculum aligns with Virginia’s Standards of Learning.

In addition to core academic courses, Charterhouse School offers career and technical exploration classes in technology, culinary arts, cosmetology, video production and horticulture.
