Each day on the campus, nestled in Bon Air at 10510 Hobby Hill Road, a fascinating mammal, bird, and reptile will be at your child’s fingertips. This program, open to children ages four through fourteen, will give each child the chance to see, touch, and interact with these incredible creatures, all under the guidance of a knowledgeable Metro Richmond Zoo zookeeper.
Not only will your child learn about the diverse world of animals, they’ll also have the opportunity to ask the zookeeper questions. Get ready for a hands-on adventure that will leave your child captivated and inspired!
All of this excitement is available for the incredible price of $45.00 for the day. Your child will join the camp from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. All you need to do is pack a delicious and nut-free lunch and a snack for your child’s adventure-filled afternoon.

Learn about the different groups of reptiles (snakes, lizards, turtles, alligators, etc.), as well as some of the snakes that are native to Virginia. Students will become familiar with the distinguishing characteristics of a variety of reptile.
