Join us for a conversation between two award-winning authors, Jennifer van der Kleut and Jennifer Pashley, as they discuss their different takes on psychological thrillers. The discussion will be moderated by John Copenhaver, award-winning author of Hall of Mirrors. Using van der Kleut’s new book, The Better Mother, and Pashley’s The House Guest, the two Jennifers will compare and contrast their different writing styles. Jennifer van der Kleut (née McBride) is an award-winning former journalist of both print and digital publications, including the D.C. affiliate of ABC7 News. Jennifer Pashley is the award-winning author of two short story collections, States, and The Conjurer, as well as the novels The Scamp and The Watcher. John Copenhaver is the award-winning author of Hall of Mirrors, a New York Times Best Crime Novel of the Year and winner of the Left Coast Crime Award.
