VPFW Opens New, Larger Office At The Notch

Practice Closes Innsbrook Office To Better Serve Patients And Enhance Experience

RICHMOND, VA – SEPTEMBER 3, 2015 – Virginia Physicians for Women (VPFW)
announced today that it has opened a new office in the MEDARVA Medical
Office Building at West Creek Medical Park (The Notch), which will
replace the practice’s Innsbrook office.

The new 4,600-square-foot office is over twice the size of the practice’s
Innsbrook location, which VPFW has outgrown and has closed now that the
new office is open. VPFW provides a full array of OB-GYN Urogynecology
services at the new location, which will offer a rotation of multiple
physicians. Three physician pods, screening mammography, ultrasounds, and
lab services are all offered, which will also serve both low-risk and
high-risk obstetrics patients.

“This move will enable us to better serve our patients from not only the
West End, but Powhatan, Goochland and western Hanover County,” said
Ronnie Milligan, chief operating officer of VPFW. “It’s a location we have been
considering for the past several years. Especially since we have a very
strong commitment to women throughout the entire Greater Richmond
metropolitan area. This new location is a testament to that commitment,
allowing us to better serve anyone who wants to take advantage of all
that we have to offer.”

At the new West Creek Medical Park location, VPFW will continue to
provide comprehensive healthcare to women of all ages, from adolescence through
menopause. One of the goals of the move is to make a lasting impression
by offering easy access via all major interstates, plenty of parking, along
with an upscale, spa-like setting, all while providing the best quality
care for patients.

The West Creek Medical Park, also known as The Notch, is located at the
intersection of West Broad Street and Wilkes Ridge Parkway. The area is
considered to become a medical destination of central Virginia as it is
within minutes from the intersection of I-295, I-288 and I-64, providing
patients from Chesterfield, Midlothian, and Mechanicsville with easy
access, while avoiding traffic in the nearby Short Pump area.

MEDARVA Healthcare, the parent company of MEDARVA Stony Point Surgery
Center, built the MEDARVA Medical Office Building to be a hub for
independent physicians in diverse practice areas to meet a variety of
patients needs at a one-stop medical destination.

“We actively evaluated other sites before we decided on The Notch, and
chose this location because we were very impressed with MEDARVA and its
track record of success, as well as its commitment to independent
physician practices,” Milligan said. “We will now be in a position to
serve a much larger population of women due to the new office’s central
location.”

Besides the new West Creek location, VPFW has two other locations in the
West End, at St. Mary’s and Henrico Doctors’ hospitals, and three on the
Southside, at Johnston-Willis and St. Francis hospitals, and in Prince
George County.

The address of VPFW’s new office at the MEDARVA Medical Office Building
is 1630 Wilkes Ridge Parkway, Suite 200.
