The clay and pottery community of Richmond is putting together a tour of all the clay studios in the Richmond area the first weekend of June – including the VCU Crafts Department, the VMFA Studios, the Visual Arts Center and multiple smaller studios. There will be three wood fire kiln openings, more than twenty studios to visit and upwards of eighty clay artists involved.
Venues will include downtown locations, as wells as studios in surrounding counties. Check out the website rvaclay.com for a map of studios and images of artisan work.
