Richmond International Raceway announces Race & Raise, a program to help local organizations with their fundraising efforts and have a fun experience at the same time.
Does your organization need funds for travel, equipment, outings, and more? RIR can help you out with this new fundraising partnership. How does it work? Organizations sell tickets to the ToyotaCare 250 NASCAR XFINITY Series race Saturday, April 23, for $25. $10 from each ticket sold as a partner in the Race and Raise program will go back to your organization.
On race day, your organization will be recognized around the race, enjoy a snack and a drink, have access to the Virginia 529 Kid’s Zone, and enjoy a fun outing for all of your members and supporters.
“The Race & Raise program is just another layer to our continued community involvement,” said Dennis Bickmeier, president of Richmond International Raceway. “RIR is focused on making an impactful difference, and the Race & Raise program allows us to help local organizations with their fundraising efforts. This program is a win-win for community organizations. They get to raise funds for needed items, as well as enjoy some classic short-track racing.”
Organizations eligible to participate in the Race & Raise program include non-profit sports teams (little leagues, cheer groups, youth and adult sports), non-profit civic groups (Big Brother, Big Sisters; Junior Achievement, etc.), school booster clubs, and professional organizations/clubs (Kiwanis, Shriners, Rotarians, Women in Business).
