Illume Family Recovery announces its largest fundraiser of the year, Par 3 Fore Recovery. This event, dedicated to raising awareness for National Recovery Month, will take place at Independence Golf Club.

Par 3 Fore Recovery offers three exciting ways for the community to get involved and show their support:

  • The 30-Day Challenge: From August 16 to September 13, participants can enjoy unlimited rounds of golf on Independence Golf Club’s Par 3 Bear Course. This unique challenge allows golf enthusiasts to play as many rounds as they like, all while supporting a worthy cause. Children under 12 accompanied by an adult play for free. All proceeds for this event go to Illume Family Recovery and the JHW Foundation.
  • The Par 3 Tournament: On September 14th, golfers will compete in a Captain’s Choice tournament with a shotgun start of 3:00 PM. Registration and a Putting Contest with with Robert Wrenn (former PGA Tour player and winner of the 1987 Buick Open) will begin at 1:30 PM, setting the stage for an afternoon of friendly competition. All proceeds go to ILLUME.
  • The Celebration Event: Following the tournament, the festivities will continue at 5:30 PM in Independence Golf Club’s main clubhouse ballroom. This event will feature the Family Recovery Documentary Project Production Team, announce the winners of both the Par 3 Fore Recovery Challenge and Tournament, and include a live auction. Guests will enjoy delicious food and non-alcoholic beverages in a family-friendly environment.

“We are thrilled to host Par 3 Fore Recovery at Independence Golf Club,” said Kathy Wrenn, executive director of Illume Family Recovery. “This event not only provides a fun and engaging way for the community to come together, but it also helps raise critical funds and awareness for National Recovery Month. We invite everyone to join us, whether you are an avid golfer or simply want to support a great cause.”

The Celebration Event is open to the public, and all ages are welcome. ILLUME Family Recovery encourages everyone to bring their friends and family to join in the celebration and support the mission of helping families on their path to recovery.

For more information and to register for the 30-Day Challenge or the Par 3 Tournament, please visit the website.
