Setting the Stage for Life: Support SPARC Through Their Online Auction

SPARC – the School of the Performing Arts in the Richmond Community – is turning up the spotlight for its biggest night of the year: Spotlight on SPARC, the organization’s annual benefit taking place May 1 on stage at the Carpenter Theatre at Dominion Energy Center. While the in-person event is sold out, you can still be part of the magic from home — and make a meaningful difference in the lives of Richmond-area youth.

Here’s how: Place your bids in SPARC’s exciting online auction, featuring over 75 unique items and experiences valued at nearly $40,000! From luxurious vacation packages and exclusive chef’s table experiences to dazzling jewelry, original artwork, and gift cards to some of Richmond’s most beloved local retailers, there’s something for everyone — and every bid supports a powerful cause.

All proceeds go to SPARC’s scholarship program, which removes financial barriers for families and ensures that all young people — no matter their background — can access exceptional performing arts education. This year’s benefit aims to raise $120,000 to expand access to life-changing arts opportunities for even more students.

SPARC’s programs reach more than 1,200 students each year, fostering creativity, confidence, and community. Scholarships help make it possible for any child with passion and potential to participate in SPARC’s classes, camps, and productions — from their very first acting class to starring in a full-scale musical. When you bid in the auction, you’re not just winning an amazing prize — you’re investing in the future of a young artist.

The auction is open right now and closes promptly at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 1 — so don’t wait to get in on the action!

Start bidding now at: sparcrichmond.org/silent-auction

Your support today helps SPARC continue setting the stage for life for the next generation of performers, dreamers, and leaders.
