In partnership with Good For Her Films comes “As You Wish,” a celebration of fairy tales in film taking place every Saturday in June (June 6, 13, 20 & 27). Each week, a different modern fairy tale film will take over the big screen at sunset (around 8pm) on Agecroft’s picturesque back lawn.
The series will feature rotating entertainment at each event including:
- Live harp performance by Erin Roukus (June 27 event)
- Intuitive tarot readings by Wildfire Wellness (June 6, 13 & 27)
- Doodle portraits by altargokart (June 6 & 20)
- Local vendors like Shelf Life Books and more
- Food and drinks from local vendors will be available for purchase at the event.
- Each online ticket purchase will include a commemorative physical movie ticket.
This film series is part of the year-long celebration of Agecroft Hall & Gardens’ 100th birthday.

About Agecroft Hall and Gardens
Agecroft Hall and Gardens, located at 4305 Sulgrave Road, is a 23-acre estate featuring a Tudor house originally built c. 1500 in Lancashire, England and transported to Richmond in the 1920s. About Good For Her Films
Good For Her Films is a local film series that hosts monthly screenings across Richmond. Their program focuses on celebrating feminist films and hosting community fundraisers every month. Since their first screening in 2023, Good For Her (GFH) has raised over $17,000 for community organizations like RVA Community Fridges, RRFP, and Safe Harbor RVA.
