Uptown Alley Offers Free Game of Bowling Celebrating National Bowling Day

Uptown Alley, Richmond’s newest entertainment and restaurant destination, invites the community to celebrate National Bowling Day on Saturday, August 10.

The venue is opening early for this special occasion. Between 8am and 10am, guests can enjoy one free game of bowling*, which includes shoe rental. Uptown Alley will offer breakfast beverages and tasty pastries for sale at the event, in addition to their classic Americana cuisine lunch and dinner menu. A bowling expert will be on hand to answer questions and offer tips.

National Bowling Day was started in 2012 as a single day to celebrate this great American past time. People of all ages and walks of life can play, compete and have fun. Over the past several years, bowling has seen a steady growth and is currently ranked the nation’s number one participatory sport with more than 71 million people taking to the lanes every year.
For more information, visit www.uptownalleyrichmond.com. Follow along on Facebook at www.facebook.com/uptownalleyrichmond and Twitter @UptownAlleyRVA. Uptown Alley is open from 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday – Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Call Uptown Alley at 804.744.1077. 6101 Brad McNeer Parkway (near Commonwealth 20 movie theatre).

*Subject to lane availability, one free game per person
