Local builders across Richmond are hard at work, creating seven captivating and imaginative playhouses for Henrico CASA’s 5th Home for Good® playhouse event beginning in April to coincide with Child Abuse Prevention Month.
The luxury playhouse structures, designed around the theme Enchanted Childhoods, will transport visitors to magical worlds like Hogwarts and Neverland —visual reminders that childhood should be carefree, without abuse or neglect.
“As we mark the 5th Annual Home for Good® we are reminded of how far we’ve come and how much we’ve achieved together,” said Kristin Blalock, Director of Partnerships at Henrico CASA. “The community’s unwavering support of our Home for Good® event, especially from our local builders and sponsors, continues to play a crucial role in Henrico CASA’s mission of advocating for vulnerable children.”
Playhouses will be on display at Short Pump Town Center and Libbie Mill Library from April 26 through May 11, 2025. While they are on display, the public will have an opportunity to win a playhouse by making $10 donations to Henrico CASA. Lucky winners will have a playhouse delivered directly to their home in May.
In addition to celebrating its 5th Annual Home for Good® event, Henrico CASA is proudly marking 30 years of supporting RVA’s children and the Henrico court system. Since 1994, CASA has empowered over 4,330 children, advocating for their safety and providing the stability they need for a brighter future. Learn more at www.HenricoCASA.org.
