Virginia Zoo’s Baby Giraffe Steps Out

NORFOLK, Va. – The Virginia Zoo’s baby Masai giraffe in his outdoor habitat here for the first time Wednesday, June 19, 2013. The giraffe was born June 6 at the Virginia Zoo to mother, Imara, and father, Billy. The Zoo will continue introducing the baby to his outdoor habitat for longer periods over the next few weeks.
