Kidz@122: VA Avengers: Celebrating John Mitchell Jr. and Maggie Walker is part of BHMVA’s VA250 commemorative programming. This family-friendly program will highlight the lives and legacies of two influential Virginia leaders through documentaries, live theatrical performances, reenactments, and historical discussion. Museum guests will explore the impact of John Mitchell Jr. and Maggie L. Walker on journalism, civil rights, and community leadership, followed by a reception with light refreshments program. Presented in partnership with Firehouse Theatre, Maggie L. Walker National Historic Site, and John Mitchell.
