My First School Bus

Hop On! My First School Bus Helps Kids Take a Big Step Toward Kindergarten To help kids (and parents) prepare for that inaugural school bus ride, Chesterfield Public Library invites you to My First School Bus. This annual program gives pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students a chance to practice getting on and off a real school bus while learning about school bus safety with Chesterfield County Public Schools and Chesterfield County Police Department. Each session will have a bus with accessibility equipment. All rising pre-K and Kindergarten students are welcome to participate in the information session portion of the program. Only rising CCPS students will be allowed to board the bus. Children in other school systems may participate in the presentation part of the program, but may not board the school bus. Please register only the children who will be attending.
