Get ready to wag, walk and woof for a great cause! Richmond Animal League (RAL) is inviting animal lovers and their four-legged friends to its annual Woofstock Festival on Saturday, September 26, 2026 from 11am to 4pm at 4951 Lake Brook Drive in Glen Allen, near Innsbrook Pavilion. FREE and open to the public, Woofstock is RAL’s annual family-friendly and dog-friendly outdoor festival bringing the community together for an unforgettable day of fun while raising lifesaving funds and awareness for animal rescue and adoption. Last year, more than 3,000 people attended Woofstock, which featured more than 60 vendors along with pet adoptions, live music and plenty of furry friends.
Something for Everyone at Woofstock

This year’s festival will once again offer something for pets and their people, including live music, adoptable animals, local vendors, a pet costume contest, activities for kids, a beer garden, raffles and more. Guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket, grab a spot and spend the day enjoying the festivities with family, friends and four-legged companions.
Adding even more excitement to this year’s celebration, Richmond Animal League will announce the winners of its popular 2027 RALendar Contest during Woofstock. The annual fundraising competition runs through September 26, with every $1 donation counting as one vote for a favorite pet. The Top 12 vote-getters will earn professional photo sessions and their own month in the 2027 RALendar, while the top pet will score the coveted calendar cover.
“Woofstock is one of our favorite days of the year because it brings together so many people who share our love for animals and our commitment to giving them a brighter future,” says Richmond Animal League Executive Director Larry Eason. “It’s an incredible day of music, pets, families and fun, but at the heart of it all is our mission. Every person who attends, donates, adopts, sponsors or supports Woofstock is helping us continue providing hope, help and loving homes to animals in need.”
Vendor and sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and organizations looking to be part of one of Richmond Animal League’s biggest community events of the year. A variety of sponsorship levels are offered, along with opportunities for vendors to connect with thousands of local pet lovers throughout the day.
Woofstock is FREE to attend, and donations are welcome and appreciated. The rain date is Saturday, October 3, 2026.
