What:
The Science Museum of Virginia is unveiling its lineup of Laser Shows through the end of 2026, with a variety of music set to lasers and lights in an energetic experience in The Dome.
A different musical act will rock The Dome on one Thursday of each month, surrounded by an unforgettable visual display. From chart-toppers of today, like Bad Bunny and Bruno Mars, to yesterday’s favorites like ABBA or the Beastie Boys, the lineup has something for everyone.

There will be two performances of each show, beginning at 6:30 and 8:15 p.m. The lineup for the final four after-hours shows of 2026 is:
Bad Bunny ᐧ Thursday, September 10
Bruno Mars ᐧ Thursday, October 8
ABBA ᐧ Thursday, November 19
Beastie Boys ᐧ Thursday, December 17
Why:
Laser Shows are an electrifying way to start the weekend early with a Thursday night event beneath Virginia’s largest screen, enjoying the intersection of music, light and science.
Who:
Science Museum Laser Shows make for a great group outing, date night or introducing a new generation to past eras’ greatest hits. While there are no age restrictions to attend, some of the artists’ music may refer to adult themes or include adult language. Guests should use their own discretion to determine if a show is appropriate for younger audiences.
How:
Laser Show tickets are available on the Science Museum’s website; advance purchase is strongly encouraged. Tickets are $12.50 for Science Museum members and $15 for non-members. Tickets are good for one of that evening’s two performances. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, along with snacks, are available for purchase at concessions.Where:
