Hundreds of live butterflies take flight in Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden’s glass Conservatory on Friday, April 15 as M&T Bank Butterflies LIVE! opens to the public. The exhibit, which features showy tropical species as well as native butterflies, runs April 15 – October 9, 2023, and is included with Garden admission.

Exhibit Highlights

Visitors walk among the butterflies in the North Wing of the Conservatory, which also features nectar plants and fruit stations for butterfly feeding. The “up-close and personal” view allows visitors to witness the interdependence of people, plants and insects and encourages all to care for nature.
