Sports Backers is turning up the energy this fall with the launch of paid group fitness classes at the organization’s Fitness Studio, located at the Sports Backers Active Living Hub in Lakeside. Beginning November 12, community members can sweat, stretch, and strengthen their way to healthier habits with dynamic daytime classes every Wednesday, and Friday, led by the talented Sports Backers Fitness Warriors.

With registration now open, participants can choose from a variety of class formats, designed to meet all levels and keep workouts fun, fresh, and effective. Each class is capped at just 12 participants, creating a boutique-style experience with personalized attention from instructors who know how to motivate and inspire.

“This launch is a major milestone for our team and our community,” said Tiffany Copeland, Director of Sports Backers Fitness Warriors program. “Seeing our Warriors leading these classes in the very space we dreamed of is incredibly meaningful.  What began as a bold idea has become a vibrant hub where people can connect, move, and grow stronger together.  The Sports Backers Active Living Hub isn’t just a workplace—it’s where empowerment, wellness, and community come to life.”

Just two years ago, the Sports Backers Active Living Hub was only a dream. Through the hard work and vision of our staff—and with the incredible support of generous donors and Henrico County—that dream is now reality. What once existed only on paper has become a vibrant center for movement, collaboration, and inspiration. We look forward to welcoming more community groups, seeing the fitness studio filled with energy, and watching the Fall Line come alive with activity and connection.

The Sports Backers Active Living Hub has already become a gathering space for partner organizations and community training sessions, and the introduction of paid classes marks a bold new chapter in its mission to foster healthy, active lifestyles across the region.

Classes are $15 each but you can grab class at the introductory price of $10 for a limited time, with proceeds contributing to Sports Backers’ mission of inspiring active living throughout the region by supporting the over 60 FREE classes held in communities around our region!  Participants are also invited to make additional contributions to Sports Backers to help expand access and opportunities for all.

Spots are limited and expected to fill quickly—register today and be part of the movement! To sign up or join the email list, visit https://www.tfaforms.com/5196481.
